VB KOA Year 2!

We loved this KOA so much the first year around, we booked another 7 days this past July!

So GUESS WHAT!!

NO RAIN this time! Woo hoo! Well... on the trip down. 🤣🤣

This year was much hotter than last. It was over 100 degrees everyday. We stayed July 18-26 2020. Same area of the campground as last time but 2 spots up. Apparently, my spot was not "reserved" as it should have been. Oh well! We still really liked it. We had a nice shade tree above Jules which kept it a little cooler. Our AC ran the entire time!

Nothing changed with the campground from last summer. Same nice hospitality workers and cleanliness of the campground. NO trolley this year due to COVID-19. Ugh. That was a bummer. We had noisy neighbors with a kid who did laps in their tiny trailer, but they left 3 nights after we got there, so it was ...

We upgraded our green tarp from last year for a nice outdoor rug from #Amazon so that was wonderful when the rain hit us! We also got a bucket to catch all of the condensation from the AC. Steppin up our game! 😂

We no longer go to Virginia Beach oceanfront. We LOVE #Sandbridge Beach! The first few nights we ventured out driving and found #FirstLandingStatePark. Beautiful!

We stepped up our campsite set up this year. Rocking chair, #rtic canopy, towel holder, shoe rack, #igloo cooler and outdoor fan,.

OMG... if you do not have a box or outdoor fan for your TT, get one! They keep all of the bugs away and it keeps you cooler! I will ALWAYS bring one now.

FOOD REVIEW!

We try to eat at the TT to save $$$, but we do like to go out to eat a few times! With COVID-19, it changed a lot of the plans that we originally had, but we made the best of it!
