Virginia Beach KOA Review #1

Every campground we stay at, I am going to post my review and hopefully it will help future campers as well!

Obviously, we had nothing to compare it to, but we absolutely love this campground. We had a 50/30 amp back in spot towards the back side of the campsite. It was on the end row right near the main road into the campground. Pretty shaded during the middle of the day. The only downfall to this area is that the trolley that runs to the oceanfront runs every 30 minutes so you will hear it passing by! I got used to it quick. Dogs weren't sure! 🤣

I will get to the trolley in a little bit.. but so awesome!

This campground is very clean, no trash laying around. The staff at the front was helpful, always had answers to any questions! They took us to our campsite and helped us back in. The spots are pretty spacious! For as many people that were there, it was quiet! No loud parties going on and everyone respected the quiet hours.

I checked out the bathhouses on the last day and they were immaculate! I wish I would have taken pictures. Pool was clean. Dog park was pretty small and not shaded at all but they provided a water bowl. It also had a few small agility pieces in it.

This is a great family friendly campground! You can rent bikes, scooters, theres a zipline, super slide, cornhole, chess, jumping mat and a few others awesome amenities inside the rec area!

Here is a picture of our baby Jayco Jules beside this monster Class A. We googled it and it was about 850k. 😲😲 Holy COW!

Please ignore our tarp that we used for a rug.. 😂 #newbies. Me and my girl Layla. She loved her first camping trip. Here are some other pictures of the pups.. We hadn't adopted Sidney bear yet.

THE TROLLEY!!

The trolley runs from the KOA to the oceanfront every 15-30 minutes up until 10pm. You can set up the app and pay ahead!I would highly recommend it, especially if you plan on going into town having dinner and some drinks! I used it almost everyday to go to the beach so we didn't have to try to find parking.

Check it out!

SCORE OF VB KOA!

Overall, for our first campground.... Great! 9/10. Had everything we needed.

We paid about 85-90$ a night during peak beach season for a full hookup site. Cable worked wonderful. No wifi out on our end.
